Perennial in zones 8-10. Full sun to partial sun preferred.
These dense 5"-8" bright blue spires atop strong thin stems. These perennial plants work well in borders, containers and in mass plantings. Draught, humidity and heat tolerant once established.
A favorite of the pollinators. Can be used as cut flowers in fresh and dried arrangements.
To grow sow seed 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Gently press seed into soil but do not cover as light aids in germination. Bottom water or mist to avoid seed disruption. 75°-80° required for germination. Harden off plants before transplanting outdoors. Can be direct seeded when temps are warm enough and no danger of frost.
