The rich deep color of the blooms and foliage is striking! Large 2"-4 1/2" purple-black bloom heads on deep blackish purple-red foliage.

Excellent as cut flowers, or for containers, borders, or mass plantings with color at all stages. The blooms have a sweet smell that is heavenly!

Direct sow early spring when a light frost is still possible. Plants like cool temperatures.
